I love that these baskets appear high end but are available at a manageable price point. So often, I fall in love with woven baskets while browsing Pinterest or shopping online, only to find that they retail for $50 or so each, particularly if they feature a lid. And that brings me to my next point, which is that baskets with lids are a total game changer. I love that I can stack all three of these if I need to; plus, even when they’re not stacked, I like how the lid prevents me from having to stare at what’s inside. After all, in a small apartment, I’m all about streamlined, aesthetically pleasing storage solutions. Just because I feel the urge to keep a handful of different toothpastes or sunscreens on hand at any given time doesn’t mean that I want to stare at these plastic bottles every time I step into the bathroom. I’m tempted to order another set of these baskets and use them to organize all of my stationery and writing supplies. The desk in my apartment is small and doesn’t quite have enough drawer space for me to stash my many sets of thank you notes, journals, and various writing utensils. I like that I could easily stack this set under my desk if necessary. The wicker design is not only chic and but also lightweight, meaning it’s easy to grab an individual box and lift it off the ground or remove it from a shelf when necessary. Alternatively, if you’re a new parent, you may wish to consider scooping up a set of these boxes for the nursery. Use one to wipes, another to hold burp rags, and the smallest to hold pacifiers. These boxes are functional but sophisticated, so they can grow with your child and last long past those first few baby years. But honestly, I won’t judge you if you repurpose them for your own needs because you think they’re so great!
